Since April 2007, Stephen has been working on Elsevier's Product Marketing program for key search & discovery tools such as ScienceDirect and Scirus. He was also involved in the inception and development of SciTopics and drives the marketing innovation process for the group.

Before joining Elsevier, Stephen was a publisher of consumer and professional PC and IT magazines in the Irish market.
In 2002, he was honored with a Magazine Editor of the Year Award from the Periodical Publishers Association of Ireland.
